Five Minutes With... Krishni Manojeyanthan

Mar 8, 2024|

In ‘Five Minutes with…’ we share the stories of our Bisley colleagues and business partners, allowing you to get to know them a little better. In this feature, we talk to Krishni Manojeyanthan, our Project Manager in Bisley France, as she discusses her role at Bisley and the professional achievements she is proud of.

Can you tell us a little about your role at Bisley?

I am a Project Manager at Bisley France, and I have a transversal role which allows me to work on the same project with the sales team, the design office in UK, Bisley partners and sometimes, the end customers.

What does a typical working day look like for you?

I don’t really have a typical day! With so many collaborators, the key word is organization and the sense of priorities to meet customer requirements.

Why did you want to work in the furniture industry?

I’ve been in this industry for 4 years and have always had a strong interest in design and space planning. Working at Bisley allows me to be informed of trends in design and innovation.

Does your subsidiary have a goal for the year ahead? If so, what are they?

Our goal is to promote Bisley in France and also to be a major player in smart lockers since the development of the flexible office. Today we are able to answer to any LockerWall project within 48 hours.

What makes you proud to be a woman working in the furniture and manufacturing industries?

In France, women predominate in sales and marketing positions, which is not the case in other industries. In the furniture sector, a woman can showcase her sensitivity, creativity, and ability to adopt new trends.

Do you have any professional achievements that you’re able to share with us?

One of the projects that thrived me the most is Publicis on the Champs-Elysée. It brings together several points, including innovation, as it was the first time we had the chance to partner with Keynius for connected lockers. We were able to overcome some challenges, such as meeting short deadlines and co-ordinating regularly with all stakeholders.

We were also able to design. We proposed and implemented a collaborative space with the integration of LockerWall with planters and a selection of additional products from recycled textiles. The prestige of the most beautiful avenue in the world never fails to amaze me and I’m proud to have worked on such a great project.

Do you have or know an inspirational quote that you can share in support for International Women’s Day? Can you share it with us, please?

“There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.” - Michelle Obama.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Bisley?

I like the dynamic that comes from working on projects, but also the diversity of tasks and the responsibilities they entail on a daily basis.
