Personal storage and collaborative spaces made for the future

Telemundo is a world class media company, leading the industry in the production and distribution of high quality Spanish-language content across its multiplatform portfolio. Their programming is syndicated to more than 100 countries in over 35 languages with content including telenovelas, sports, reality television, news programming and films.

Brief

Telemundo wanted to bring all of the company’s various arms - corporate, news department and creative - under one giant roof in a new state-of-theart, $250 million headquarter building. Housing over 1,800 employees it will create a fully-functional, centralized broadcasting network focusing on all their market countries. Bisley was chosen by leading NYC design practice Design Republic to create a colorful, functional and multi-use working environment.

Lösung

Bisley konnte das Konzept perfekt umsetzen, indem wir sowohl MySpace-Schließfachschränke als auch zentrale Stationen für die Zusammenarbeit in den Fluren und den Hauptarbeitsbereichen aufstellten. Design Republic hat sich dafür entschieden, die einzelnen Länder, in denen Telemundo sendet, durch eine unterschiedliche Farbgestaltung zu repräsentieren. Um eine wohnliche Atmosphäre zu schaffen, wurden alle Stauräume und Recycling-Inseln mit luxuriösem Schichtholz und weißem Vollkernlaminat verkleidet.

Results

Bisley helped provide long lasting personal storage for employees and a combination of lockers and recycling units in touch down islands for impromptu meetings and collaboration, all while maintaining an open, airy aesthetic representing Telemundo’s different country zones.
