Bisley Shortlisted at the Mixology Awards! Jun 16, 2021| Auszeichnungen We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted at the Mixology Awards for Manufacturer of the Year and in the Product of the Year – Storage category for our Belong and Be collections. To be named as finalists in both categories following a challenging year is a great achievement. Richard Costin, CEO at Bisley commented, “We are thrilled to be shortlisted at the Mixology Awards 2021 in not only one but two categories. The team here at Bisley have worked tirelessly hard throughout the pandemic and to be recognised for our achievements is a real honour. To be shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year is a real testament to how well everyone has worked together as one united team.” As we all adopted more flexible working patterns throughout 2020 and adapted our working environments, Bisley designed a new collection, Belong, creating a sanctuary wherever you are, so you can focus and stay on top of your workload in comfort. Belong by Bisley gives you flexibility - with hardworking, savvy solutions that don’t compromise on style – so you can thrive, no matter your location. Following the launch of Belong, and as businesses begun to return to the workplace, we introduced our next generation of the revolutionary Be system, for a post-pandemic working world. Its unique design can be used to create subtle space and territory division, ensuring a safe and productive space, which threads through the workspace allowing multiple activities in one core creation, while still adhering to distancing protocols. Be’s dual aspect creates a natural barrier that fits in seamlessly within your working environment, allowing natural light but separating a room without building walls, whilst also providing unique personal storage space. Mark Shatford, Head of Design at Bisley commented on the reinvention of Be, “Fresh for 2021, a number of refinements have been made to the original Be concept. The new flush front handles and concealed hinges give the design a clean, modern appeal, while a greater variety of colours and materials whether fabric, glass, wood or steel means architects and designers have greater choice when specifying for workplace interiors.” For over eighty years, we’ve been proud to have built a reputation for designing the right product at the right time. Now more than ever, the workplace is ripe for reimagination as we all adopt more flexible working patterns. Being faced with the pandemic in 2020 was unexpected but the team here at Bisley worked continuous throughout. We are honoured to be nominated at the Mixology Awards and recognised for the hard work and projects that came from 2020. We can’t wait for the awards on 16th September 2021!
