Best of British: Bisley and Deadgood announce their exclusive partnership in North America Apr 30, 2020| ExpertenPortfolio Bisley – the U.K.’s leading purveyor of office storage solutions – is delighted to announce its new distribution partnership with fellow British design brand and contract furniture specialists, Deadgood. Bisley has the exclusive distribution rights to Deadgood products in North America. Recent escalations in the current global situation mean that it is more important than ever to support the creative industries in Britain. In a move that celebrates the ‘Best of British’, both Bisley and Deadgood fly the flag for the ‘designed in Britain; made in Britain’ model. With their solidarity and eagerness to continue designing and creating, Bisley and Deadgood hope to showcase Great British design at a time when cohesion is most needed. They share values of functionality, quality and longevity, and both brands focus on creating timeless designs with personality. Robin Bayliss, Group Sales Director for Bisley commented: “It’s fantastic to have another Great British manufacturer in Deadgood that we’re bringing to our friends in America. Deadgood pride themselves in producing high quality, ‘homegrown’ products - values that resonate with us at Bisley. Their seating and tables, alongside our storage, have the ability to provide beautiful and functional workplace solutions. Elliot, Dan & I have similar aspirations for both our brands in North America. We have been discussing a partnership for some time now, and, despite the current global situation being uncertain, I am pleased that we’re finally announcing our partnership”. Working Girl Lounge Chair & Marra Table - Deadgood The majority of Deadgood’s most notable designs – including the Working Girl Lounge Chair, Love Collection & Scafell Sofa, and a variety of chairs, stools and tables – have been installed into Bisley’s New York showroom. For now, however, these will primarily be showcased online, on Deadgood’s newly redeveloped website, to support Government advice and minimise the risk of Coronavirus. The mix of soft seating and breakout furniture – which are designed for commercial environments worldwide – complements the Bisley product portfolio, which includes the award-winning modular storage system, BOB, and the iconic MultiDrawer, both of which have received a Design Guild Mark. Dan Ziglam, Co-founder and Director at Deadgood, commented: "Bisley share many of our own core values, manufacturing high-quality products in the UK and providing employment for local communities, whilst also promoting and supporting the best of British design. As a young, modern brand, we’re delighted to be partnering with them, utilising their vast experience and global reach to support our own plans to build an internationally recognised design brand.” Lapstool - Deadgood The Deadgood products have been on display from March 2020 at Bisley’s New York Showroom, 15th floor, 1140 Broadway New York 10001. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Bisley and Deadgood are instead offering virtual product presentations and conference calls via video link, to showcase the product whilst minimising the risk of Coronavirus.
