Aug 20, 2025|

Bisley is proud to announce the release of our 2024 Sustainability Report, showcasing a year of significant progress towards our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. From cutting carbon emissions and achieving 100% renewable energy use, to supporting mental health and community projects, this report reflects our continued commitment to a sustainable future.

Other key achievements include our achievement of a 56% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2018 which surpasses our goal for 2024, our continued commitment to net zero by 2050 with ambitious interim targets, nine newly trained mental health first aiders, while also demonstrating how our impact extends globally, from mental health initiatives in Wales to reforestation projects in Haiti and Madagascar.

Richard Costin, Bisley CEO said; “Things often move at a fast pace in manufacturing, and while it’s an integral part of growing our business to keep up with technological advancements and to be prepared for any changes affecting our industry, it makes it even more important to ensure that we take sufficient pause to reflect on our progress and our impact, and that we remain on track to achieve our targets. Ultimately, this is the way we can drive a truly sustainable business, benefiting our staff, customers, and community, while reducing our environmental footprint.

“I’m delighted to see the results of everyone’s hard work detailed within this report - not just because it brings us ever closer to our long-term goals but because it demonstrates the dedication, loyalty, and heart of our Bisley team.”

Alister Pearce, Compliance and Sustainability Officer at Bisley, said; “We have made significant improvements throughout 2024 and it’s great to see all our efforts and achievements highlighted within this report. I'm especially proud of our steps towards reducing our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, most notably, the transition from petrol and diesel forklifts onsite toward electric models.

“Transparency in terms of our sustainable efforts is becoming increasingly important, and rightly so, for both for people and planet. I'm particularly proud to see the 16 new EPDs we developed for our ranges in 2024 that has not only allowed us to better understand the environmental impact of our products but also demonstrated our continued commitment to accountability as a business.”

Our journey to net zero is ongoing, with ambitious goals set for the years ahead. Explore the full 2024 Sustainability Report to see how we’re driving measurable impact across our products, operations, and communities.
